Paintjob was pretty simple for a horse. Originally a commission, I was given a rough idea of the design -- bay horse with black ear tips and muzzle, adding a white blaze on the nose.
It seemed only fitting that I could eventually have room to test out a new paint technique. Other attempts at this became costly as it ate my expensive brushes from art school. So, we tried again with the cheapest watercolor brushes you can find (like 99 cent store "grade") and it does just as good of a job as its more expensive cousins.
An exercise in cost-effectiveness, I can now offer both techniques to customers depending on the design. In the end, it went off to Europe as a successfully auctioned item at Further Confusion 2011. If you would like to commission me, by all means contact us here or on our site.
