This was the first badge created for me. It was created by http://kaze-breeze-katakage.deviantart.com/ back in 2008 I beleive as a prize for getting 3rd place in a contest. She did the lineart, I colored it in and gave it the little Misfits skull. She's also improved a lot since then.

This badge was how I got into the fandom with both feet, before this, I was a person who did not want to be a full fledged furry, I just enjoyed the art, liked some comics but did not want the title. One of the people I follow held a contest, and so I decided to enter. Upon winning third place, I was offered I think a sketch, but instead I asked for a badge. Now this is the weird part, I didn't have a fursona, I didn't have any idea of what to make a badge for or of. So, I decided to take the plunge and make a character, I wanted a fox, but not a red fox, and Alaska related, so I decided on the Arctic Fox. And there's a little background on how I really became a part of this fandom.
