they're agender - this is important to their story, so please try to use according pronouns!

they are a Psychemage and professional speed discer, which is.. kind of like a cross between frisbee and quidditch. for Pyschemages. players compete in teams and are only allowed to use flight magic and magic directed from the two index fingers of their dominant hand to keep the disc spinning FAST. each team has to try and score as many goals as possible by flinging the disc into the other team's goal

it's a very precise sport because there are only very few ways a player can tackle another to retrieve the disc without like
slicing their fingers off

the goals are also very narrow
the players are limited to a spherical area of play and have a hemisphere each to start in!

teams are mixed gender uvu

Kazumi's bloodline can only use the telekinetic aspect of Psychemage powers, but they tap into their full strength incredibly early and mature fast. Kazumi in particular has always been a good flyer and aspired to be a speed discer since childhood, their mum is super supportive, their dad wasn't until Kazumi started bringing in money. he's a practical kind of guy and they have a large family to provide for haha~

Kazumi and family belong to the same species, though Kazumi was adopted at a young age. their mother speaks Japanese having a Japanese parent herself, but the rest of the family isn't particularly fluent. (Kazumi only asks for Japanese translations when they want to insult someone in their native language)
