A Fanart I always wanted to do if/when Banjo-Kazooie every come to Smash Bro.

Now I admit I never had the change to play the original Banjo-Kazooie games when they first came out but I know the history and important of the characters to Nintendo.

They ware characters created by Rare the studio that made the original Donkey Kong Country games and many other original and license games mostly for the Nintendo systems at the time. Then one day Microsoft came in a bought Rare taking all it's IP including Banjo-Kazooie and to this day they are associated to Microsoft and the Xbox and for the longest time they really didn't do much with the IP they made one game (though it wasn't very good for what I hard) but that about it.

Then Smash Bro. came around a fighting game series that use video game mascot as the fighters mostly from Nintendo until Brawl when they first started adding 3rd party characters like Snake and Sonic and since then everyone wanted more 3rd party characters including fans of Banjo-Kazooie then Smash for Wii U and 3DS came out that added Mega Man, Pac-Man, Ryu, Cloud but no sign of Banjo-Kazooie then Smash Ultimate was announce not only they decided to bring back all past fighters including 3rd party but added more 3rd party characters like Ken, Simon and Richter to the base roster still no Banjo-Kazooie then DLC was announce and the first DLC characters was Joker from Persona 5 then then the 2nd DLC character was the Heroes from the Dragon Quest games but then the 3rd DLC character was announce and its Banjo-Kazooie and to many fans this is Banjo-Kazooie's homecoming to Nintendo.

Now I don't know what this means outside of Smash Bro. whether we getting a remaster of the original Banjo-Kazooie games or a whole new game coming to the Switch cause Microsoft still own the rights to Banjo-Kazooie even though they been every friendly with Nintendo lately letting games like Cuphead and Super Luck Tails on the Switch. Personally I would like to see a remaster of the original games just so I have a chance to play them, but I guess we have to wait and see what come from this in the future.

Overall this is what Smash Bro. truly is to me its a video game series that truly celebrate video games and they're history whether is a fighter, assist trophy or even a spirit they all have some history or meaning to anyone who have ever played a video game before and there no other video game series that could really do that.
