This is a rabbit next to a gold beckoning cat -more specifically a "maneki neko," so I felt that the title was appropriate.
In Japanese/Chinese mythology the representative totem for the moon is a bunny (Tsuki no Usagi). According to the story, the bunny spends it's time making rice cakes and immortality elixirs. A gold maneki neko is representative to the sun/money. Maneki nekos come in a variety of colors and that each hold different symbols.
Black = Wards away negativity
Gold = Wealth and prosperity
Red = Success in love and relationships
Green = Good health
Wealth = Happiness, purity, and positive things to come
Calico = Considered to be the luckiest
I like to combine sun with the gold one because yes, it does symbolize wealth, but wealth comes with work and keeping busy. Another totem animal that represents busyness would be the bee, and the bee is linked to the sun in many facets of mythology. Gold maneki Neko = Sun.
Also, the fact that mine is solar powered is totally a dead give-away. :3
