This is the redrawn version that I redid of the oringal 2008 artwork (I like this one even better!)

I bought a wide format printer in 2013 and the old one did not provide a sufficient DPI to make printouts, so I had to redo this one by tracing the original ink lines and then pretty much repainting and reshading from scratch. =P. I kinda wanted to update it anyway because there were various things I thought I could have drawn better, so this new one has those fixes. =3

Anyway, this is one of my favorite pics from my FA gallery, even though I changed Caribbean's design like I do just about every time I draw him! XD But despite him looking different I really liked this design, and that tail is so plush and floofy, dammit, I just want to snuggle it like a big cushy pillow! =D

This pic was based on real-life events during my sinus surgery back in April of 2008 >.> They really don't make hospital gowns long enough... ¬_¬ They're OK when you're walking about and gravity does it's thing, but laying in the bed it tends to ride up and expose a little too much to everyone else in the room. X3

One of the other things I loved about this pic is how I managed to get the flat shading just right so it looks 3D without having to do any smooth shading except for the eyes. I really need to do more of this because it's a lot closer to the toony style I'm aiming for lately. Plus it takes less time to finish! XD
