Denzen Map by Caramel_Cassidy

Denzen Map

Caramel_Cassidy

This is a map I created in photoshop of my mythical fantasy world known as Denzen. It is a world ripe with all sorts of creatures and history. Goblins, Anthro species, giants, ogres, trolls, elves, humans magic! You name it and it probably exists here. As of now it is labeled with the basic lands of the realm but not towns, villages, castles or cities but perhaps that is a good thing. I will update eventually but there's always room for ideas and such. If you have questions on specific areas and or mythology or just the usual WTFs let me know! Like I said I have a whole Universe in my head ripe with over 200+ character, legends, Gods, history, species, heroes and villains. If you do feel like making residence here feel free.

Is the island to the east of the Winddales used for anything?

Interesting that of all places that one would catch your eye. It is all that remains of a great city. The crumbled remains of many temples and dwellings and the vast dilapidated halls of the Great Library of Gallholland. The fact that millennia ago there was not even a bay there at all. Just land. A magical cataclysm so great in its magnitude it left only an island in its wake. One haunted by the spirits of the past and where only the learned rat anthros dare to tread. So it was once a jewel in Denzen's crown but now a silent reminder that magic is not a tool to help any species play as one of the Gods.

Interesting. Sounds like a spellthief's paradise. How about the Red Sands? What are they like? Any places of interest you have planned there?

The Red Sands is as you might suspect a very hostile environment with sporadic villages. Nomadic tribes of Minotaur clans, huge temples long since abandoned with a vast cave system running underneath them. The great sand sea of Tumah-Veh though looking void of life hide the massive Sun Worms beneath their windswept dunes. Many outlaws, and criminals and rogue mages find themselves calling the Red Sands home as the law of the upper Kingdoms don't hold any power down there. It was once a lush and vibrant land until a hundred years war between the many Tribal sorcery clans laid waste to it. It is rife with magical energies from the fallout of the war and any animal life is more than likely vicious and corrupted. You will find most people and habitable communities along the coastal areas as it is much cooler and hospitable.

Very cool. Sounds like you have a neat world planned out. I'll be looking forward to seeing it developed.

That's pretty impressive and reminds of the maps on RPG video games:)
