Werewolves have rather thick hair. This can lead to quite a bit of tangled hair. Some choose to up their hair care regimen, others tend to go with it and cultivate it into dreadlocks, or others simply maintain shorter hair to keep it manageable. Whatever works. I thought I'd entertain the idea of Lupin delving into the second option, although only with a few strands along with a number of braids, not an entire head full of dreadlocks. It's an interesting look, and I'll admit, I was partly inspired by Aloy and the Nora Tribe from Horizon Zero Dawn. I might draw Aloy one of these days. XD
