No (well, yes, but that's beside the point). It's a Bakeneko, also called a monster cat or a ghost cat. Also another animal who lived long enough to become a yokai!
Cats are found everywhere in Japan. But when you find one that has lived an exceptionally long time for a cat (over 13 years) then they begin to develop special powers. They begin to walk on their hind legs, they can grow to be as large as a human, and they will even talk and act human, sometimes even replacing their owner. Yes, these cats can be quite evil when they want to be, but they aren't always evil.
This one is a female calico cat wearing a kimono. You may have noticed I didn't do a Japanese bobtail. That is because one sign that your cat is about to become a bakeneko is that it's tail will grow very long, which is why many people began to breed short tailed cats... or just chop off the tail.
Now some of you might think "Wait, aren't cat yokai the ones with two tails?" Well, I'll get to that one later.
