For those of you who don't know, a ghost in Japan is called a "Yuurei". Depending on the yuurei, it can act and behave differently, and different tactics may be used to put it at rest.

This is the Shiryou. It is a malevolent spirit. Not nearly as bad as others, but it can still be scary. They appear to their family or friends, and most of the time it is to say good bye before passing on, but there is more tales that tell a different story.

Beware the shiryou, for they will sometimes look for family to accompany them on their way to the afterlife. If you do go with them, you can never return because the dead should not walk among the living.
