Here's concept designs for the parents of a character of mine~ Copypasta description from deviantArt posting a few weeks ago:

This has been in my stash for so long--I think it was drawn in January. Originally it had much more info. But seeing as I was on the fence about sharing it at all for a long time, I'll keep it to a minimum: Rook's mother (reddish brown) was a Eurasian gray wolf living in London and his father (gray) was a North American gray wolf from somewhere in Canada. So Rook is actually a mix between these two subspecies (not sure which North American subspecies exactly, either C. l. occidentalis or C. l. nubilius). He never met his father though, as he went back to Canada. Rook probably, no almost definitely has half siblings somewhere he has no clue about, oh gosh. And if I think about that for too long I'll probably have a vague collection of ideas for them too. xD
I was pretty satisfied with how features from Rook's design worked into both of theirs :> I would want to do a bit of refining if I ever drew them again but this is basically what I had in mind. I think Rook looks like a pretty good mix between them, hopefully.
