This is a preview of an upcoming project for raver-neonlight of a Charizard mask I had been given the task to create several years ago... but I wasn't quite ready to take on outside commissions at the time. Now that it's drawn out I can really tackle this!

Looking at this version compared to my first one- it's going to blow the old one out of the water. Seriously. I can't wait to show them side by side XD

Don't really know what drove me to shade this one either. The challenge with Charizard was that his head was so flat and his eyes very much on the sides/far apart... so I used a little bit of Riley magic to tweak the design in my favor, but it wasn't without a struggle.

Sorry, at the moment I'm not open for concept art commissions due to project overload. But keep me in mind for the future! :>
