Just some more Progress on my picture. Trying a coloring technicue with doing the shading layers first then adding the flat colors on and overlay then going from there. Any input would be appreciated. :)
This is really amazing, Cam! I was really impressed by your earlier post of this picture, because there was just some sort of quality or detail there that was... really different from your usual work. I couldn't quite put my finger on it. But seeing this done with clean lines is even more awesome Really loving the line quality, particularly the line thickness contrast, however subtle, that you have going on around the face and shoulders.
The overlay process is a good one to experiment with for doing initial shading. My only suggestion would be that you make sure that your grayscale shading has enough contrast so that it comes through the overlay clearly. What you have on the facial markings and pawpads is great. Other than that, I can't wait to see how this'll turn out~ :3
