I can't tell you how much I loved being in Yosemite National Park for a week. The scenery there was absolutely astounding... especially in contrast to the endless flat farmland I'm surrounded by in my day-to-day life. There was no shortage of photography opportunities, which made me quite happy, to say the least.

This is from the Mariposa Grove of Giant Sequoias... there are two other groves of big trees in Yosemite, but I sadly didn't get a chance to go to either of those on this visit. In this picture, the tree in the foreground (at left) is The Bachelor, while the three trees just to its right are The Three Graces. I did some nice panorama photos of some of these large trees, but sadly I can't upload them here, or it would have a seizure.
