I SWEAR to you guys. I TRIED to beat my scanner into submission this year, so that it would stop scanning my pictures like last weeks meal (which, for the record, in my terms, means shit, because last weeks meal should have been already through your digestive system, and thus have been through your bowels already -)

I was trying to be creative, BRAIN. GAWD. Anyway. I tried. I really did. But, alas, nothing will ever make my scanner...just...just...GRADFAFDASFASD!!!

So, yes, my friends. We'll have, once again, another fantastic year of my fan-fucking-tastic scans.

OMM NOM NOM NOM CARROTSSSS!!! *shoves carrots in her face* IMMA BUNNY.

Anyhoo. In all honestly, tho, this scan isn't nearly as terrible as some of my newer ones. I actually think I scanned this a little while back (before January)....So...actually. Now that I look at it, my scans in 2012 are much better then the ones I've scanned so far...Oh gawd. My scanner just keeps getting worse! Anyway. Enough of my bitching about my scans. I guess I just wanted to get that out of the way.

So... I've been wanting to draw my character SUPER BEST FRIENDS together lately, because as I said somewhere previously, I really want to start drawing more than one character in a picture. I figure drawing characters together who are best friends is a good place to start. So... once again, we have another picture of Chastity and Kriss, hanging out together! AND LOOK! This time Kriss isn't embarrassing herself this time wearing a Toronto Maple Leafs shirt HAH! I just LOVE these two as best friends, because they really don't have that much in common. But they do pretty much everything together and it makes for interesting times. So here we have Chastity, to your left, being all cute in her little pink spotted dress, and Kriss, being all awesome. I don't know if I said this before, but Kriss is like UBER FIT, like Jessica Ennis fit, and she wears a lot of workout clothes. Which is awesome, I love workout clothes. I love wearing yoga pants and stuff. So...yes! Here they are!

They're just adorable, aren't they? HAH, check out that bootay on Kriss! Someones been doing Brazil Butt Lift! I tried to make her glutes and legs look lean and stuff because she is so into fitness and sport, so she works those out a lot. Chastity is really tall and skinny and girly, so...yes. She's supposed to have a bit of a booty tho too, but my only issue I have with her here is that her butt looks a little off. It's just like...BOOM. Just looks a little wierd. I honestly just only noticed this now, I don't think I noticed it so much when I was doing this drawing. Other than that, Kriss' arm (the one face you) looks a little...annoying. I dunno, it looks like a noodle or something, I just can't describe it. It just looks off. I'm blaming that on my crappy inking, I don't think it looked so terrible on the original pencil sketch. Anyway, aside from that tho, Kriss is my favourite here. She's so pretty! She'd probably never call herself pretty, and she never purposely TRIES to be pretty, but dammit she is pretty anyway.

Meanwhile, on Chastity's tail, when I was going over the inks finishing this picture, the inks completely smeared GAERDASDFASFASDF by my stupid hand (I'm left handed, so I when I was finishing up Kriss, the inks much not have been completely dry). Sooooooo... it kinda smeared on her tail and I attempted to fix it. Well, I failed, so I decided to try a different method. I took my white gel pen, and went over the crappy part, and tried to fix it. It doesn't look that bad on the original, but YA KNOW, MY SCANNER AND SUCH. I also didn't want to colour Kriss lips a "girly" colour because she doesn't voluntarily wear lipstick, so I chose this like...browny colour. And for some reason... it looks REALLY terrible here and it looks like Kriss has a snot monster on her face or something. On the original, the colour of her lips doesn't look bad.

Seriously, Scanner, it's really not that hard to scan shit in properly for once.

So yeah. Once again, my scanner causes fails everywhere. The background was just done with regular ol' watercolours. The background, obviously, scanned in pretty scary like (all the dark wierd parts in the background.....) And Chastity and Kriss really look all grainy and stuff, it really is just...awful. And once again, my scanner puked out whatever colour it wanted for Kriss. Seriously, the orange part of her always looks so TERRIBLY. I just don't understand why my scanner can't scan in orange.

Fun fact: My scanner is a douchebag.

(I just wanted to add a fun fact to my description here today, but for some reason I feel you all already knew that fact.)

And to think that I said this is one of the better scans. Yes, my friends, THIS IS THE BEST MY SCANNER CAN DO.

I probably should have drawn Kriss butt a little bigger (like, her thigh starts too high), so it kinda looks a bit off, but meh. I still like how this one came out. I don't think I was originally going to add the dots to Chastity's dress, but I really wanted to do something a little more exciting with it. I'll be the first to admit that I don't usually add exciting patterns or shapes to my characters clothing, so I guess it's nice to see atleast something. That and I think a boring white dress would be..um...boring. And with Chastity, I just felt like it NEEDED to have more pink on it. Because, if you can't tell by now, Chastity really likes pink. And she must wear it, everywhere. I love to wear pink too, altho mine is always combined with black somewhere....

Kriss has changed a bit since her inception, actually. It's always fun to see the evolution of your characters, isn't it?

Fun fact: My scanner evolved from an ass hole.

Anyway.

So yes, just felt like drawing a cute picture of Chastity and Kriss, just chillin. I'm having fun drawing characters together. Thought I'd take a break from Mac-a-Mel's, however, and draw other characters together.
