Ryerson: OHMAHGAWD LOOKIT THIS ITS A STAR TREK CONVENTION!

Trekker: OMIGAWDLEMMEGETONMYSPOCKCOSTUME!!!!! *has heart attack and lies frothing and twitching on the floor*

Okay, actually, that's not even what they are looking at, that's just what came to mind just now. Their expressions, if they were looking at a Star Trek convention ad, would be slightly more much more exciting then how they appear here. XD

Anyway, I've been wanting to finish a picture of Trekker or Ryerson, or both, forEVER. Because it's been FOREVER since I've finished a half decent picture of these two. My most recent posting of Trekker was sometime back in 2011, and poor Ryerson sometime back in 2010 apparently. Don't try and look for those pictures, they're both pretty terrible. But anyway. They are actually major characters in my Welcome To Everglades stories -

(Oh yeah, Jess? I don't think your watchers really know that. You know why, Jess? Because you're a slow ass and -)

SHUT UP BRAIN IT'S GETTING DONE! Anyway. They are major characters, but kinda show up a little later on (because if I have all my characters "introduced" all at once, you'd all have a brain fuck. It would be like this, bascially: OH HEY IMMA RAGE AND HEY IMMA RICKY AND OH HEY IMMA MAC OH MY GOD HEY IM AJAX OH HEY IMMA CLARICE OH HEY *and it goes on an on and on*... So I figure introducing them kinda...intermitantly throughout the stories would be a better idea. (Most of the comics will focus on only certain characters at one time, but anyway, I'll shut up about this.) Anyway. So yes.

I dunno what gave me the idea for this. I guess I was looking at some picture of people reading a book and/or something, and I decided to draw Trekker and Ryerson, Ryerson showing Trekker something of somewhat interest in a magazine or book he's reading. Trekker will then take this interesting information and then examine it, and study it, and then do an experiment for the next five days. Because that is what Trekker does with information he learns. He could also be annoyed that a word is spelled wrong, as well. He really hates it when there are spelling and grammar mistakes. I can't decide if Trekker would be really fun to live with, or really...really....REALLY annoying to live with.

Anyway. So here they are. Again, I'm really not sure what they are talking about, I'll leave that up to you guys. But they're special and adorable. I'm not too sure why I drew them pigeon toed, their feet just ended up that way. Perhaps Trekker can do an experiment on that later on. Trekker is supposed to be scratching his head, or flicking off something on his forehead or...I dunno. I can't decide if his arm came out too long or not. Ryerson is rocking those boots LIKE A BOSS. I always love creating outfits for Ry-Ry. His outfits are slightly more exciting than some of my other male characters, altho I admit that it's a bit of a challenge to decide what part of his outfit is going to be plaid, because if you remember, Ryerson ALWAYS wears plaid. I always pictured Ryerson dressing a bit like a hipster. Honestly, when I draw him, I think "What WOULDN'T my boyfriend wear?"... and then I pretty much end up creating his outfits from that. :XD: Ironically, for Trekker, I think "What WOULD my boyfriend wear?"

Granted, I'm sure Trekker would probably, if it were more socially acceptable, wear his Spock outfit pretty much everywhere, everyday......... Anyway. (Ftt. Everyone SHOULD wear a Spock outfit everywhere. WITH THE POINTED EARS, TOO.)

I honestly wanted to do something slightly more exciting with Trekker's shirt, but alas, the Power symbol won. I really love the way his pants came out and I like his pose, too. I think Ryerson's boots should have turned out better, right now they kinda look like some demented piano.... Or like he has train tracks going down his legs or something. CHOO CHOO! ALL ABOARD THE FAIL TRAIN! (Durrr did you guess that the conductor of the Fail Train is Jess?)

Random fact: There's some show thats on in the morning for kids called The Dinosaur Train or something like that. I thought it was pretty awesome there was a dinosaur train.

*Trekker lectures me on how its impossible for the types of dinosaurs that are in the show could ride on a train because of their size but we just tune him out* You were an annoying child, weren't you?

I did the background with some watercolours that I have sitting on my art table. They're my special Crayola watercolours that I love ever so dearly. Once again nothing particular exciting, but I promise you that I'll actually do more backgrounds in my pictures this year.

Oh, look, tho! Guess what happened! OH, NOTHING, JUST MY SCANNER TAKING A BIG FAT SHIT ALL OVER ME AGAIN. Seriously, Scanner. Once again we see a terrible scan, created by a terrible, terrible waste of space, my scanner. GOD, IT'S SO GROSS. It's got everything I hate about my scans, ALL IN ONE PICTURE. Blurryness! Grain! Random ripply looking effects in the background! Not scanning my characters colours in properly! Good job Scanner, Good job. You want a freakin' medal now? I scanned this in fairly recently, and I recall telling myself that I was going to attempt to rescan this one in, along with about a billion other pictures. I realize that rescanning my pictures won't fix anything, because my scanner will just scan the other picture in just as bad, if not worse, but just humour me here.

So once again, I must be a pain in the ass and as you all to ignore my scan. I'm sure you all do regardless, but just in case you forgot, or whatever. My scanner is just...just...THERE ARE JUST NO WORD TO DESCRIBE MY SCANNER ANYMORE.

Plaid is always fun to draw on characters. It's a little challenging, because I have to make it look as if the pattern is moving with the characters clothing. I honestly kinda figured Ryerson would be the taller of these two, but I guess Trekker is taller (or is wearing lifts or something, I dunno.) I suppose they could even be the same height but it looks like Trekker is taller then Ryerson. Been drawing these two a lot these days, I just haven't finished too many because I fail hardcore.

Seriously, I can't draw pants lately. I really like Trekker's pants here, but lately when I draw guys in pants (lol, I originally was typing "guys on my pants". Crap, I even fail at typing my stuff properly XD), their pants just look...so...@$@#!!$!#!! *hits her scanner out of frustration*

So therefore, I just might have to draw my boys in drag nao. TEE HEE. I think Trekker would look cute in a periwinkle dress :iconflirtplz: . Ryerson's off the hook because he's got some kilts that he can wear. I suppose I could just draw all of my guys in kilts now, but drawing them in dresses amuses me more. Anyway.

So yes, just Trekker and Ryerson super enthralled by a magazine or something. They shall discuss what they have read in detail for several hours.
