A commission for my dear friend Zeta, who wanted a small acrylic painting for her office. I really loved her prompt of a space-faring woman reading by the light of a window, so this all fell together quite easily. Unfortunately, the scan does not quite do it justice!
Getting to paint a nebula was really awesome and I hope I get to do it again soon.

Oh, wow. That nebula is breathtaking. I can't imagine what it'd be like up in space. Sleeping in the stars would feel so surreal, mystical almost. I'd be too afraid to go into space myself, but the thought of it is alluring. This piece makes it seem much more alluring.
