this one's been a long time in the making ;w;
mostly I've been lining+colouring intermittently for the last couple days, but the original sketch dates back to april! I decided that lia (the white chinchilla in this picture) would make for a good library employee, which then lead to the thought of a book club,,, an idea I've had since early 2019,,, so it was nice to make it a reality >:3c
between that intial sketch and now, more characters have been created (which you should totally keep an eye out on my toyhouse forrr, I'm still making refs,,,) that I thought would suit a book club, so I stretched the table out and added them,,
from left to right we have catherine, clarissa (belongs to savannah), arthur (belongs to cammy), lia, madeleine, ryan, and kevin!

sidenote: I don't recommend drawing bookcases,,,,,,
