Leviathan: a timid breed of dragonite, and therefore a rare sight. even more aquatic than pure bred dragonites, living most of their lives in the sea. if managed to be captured, this pokemon can be difficult to train, but when trust is earned, it is very loving and gentle. due to their intelligence, as well as the mind-reading(not inherited) trait of lapras, these are extremely empathetic creatures, and can sense a person’s, as well as other pokemons’, emotions. this results in a peaceful nature. you will rarely meet an aggressive Leviathan, if you’re lucky enough to meet one at all. their most notable feature is a lack of wings; it is hypothesized that the wings either didn’t develop, or fused with the forelegs to form long, strong flippers. a diamond-hard shell protects the back; leaving the more vulnerable parts of the body to be defended by a long horn, sharp tusks, and a powerful, rudder-like tail. though peaceful in most situations, it is unwise to provoke this pokemon
