“Mister Keith, please… You know me well enough now… I’m still here, too, ain’t I? If you’s thinkin’ this would chase me, off, you’re wrong.”

“You would have found out eventually… I wasn’t concerned with you leaving…” He said, voice a little louder now, maybe mildly annoyed.

Reggie decided to continue, against better judgement. Now in front of the sink, he stepped forward behind Keith, who turned with wide eyes to meet his as he closed the gap and trapped him with both arms anchored to the counter at his sides. The man appeared so apprehensive, he reached both arms back, and Reggie watched his wrists splash into and sink and the water below. And Keith didn’t budge to pull them out and dry them off. He was frozen, chest unmoving as he held a breath, watching Reggie’s expression with undivided attention.

“Keith…. Are you… are you afraid of me…?”

An excerpt from a fic I'm writing about Reggie and Keith. This is a few days after it is revealed that Keith is a werewolf. Reggie gets fed up with being given the silent treatment, so he traps Keith by the sink in the kitchen to get him to talk.

Hopefully this will be something I can post soon. But there's a lot of beforehand stuff I'd like to write. Starting with how they met.

About the art though, this is a colored, shaded sketch. Just playing with new techniques and light sources.
