This reminds me that I am hopeless weeb and meme trash and nothing I draw is ever of value. Also, the amount of truly adult work i put out is tumbleweeds at best. I really should work on that.

Used light reference, of course. I don’t like using reference much these days because, as you may notice, it can mess with my style’s natural proportions. It looked “off” to me the entire time, and the oddness made it too difficult to ink properly (and the fact that I was working to a whole page size as opposed to a “panel”). Instead, I decided to lay some flats on the sketch and take some time with the possibilities of layer-based color palette manipulation. Pink shading to contrast with a blue background….
