EDIT: forgot to mention, that pad he's sitting on is the primary inspection area, where the Agent usually stands who talks to the drivers and checks their documents.

So, our detection dogs are VERY well trained and behaved, including a specific behavior for photos, though usually they do with a significant narcotic seizure. In this case the handler just told his dog to lay down, and draped the leash over his back, he won't get up until he gets really thirsty or the handler comes back. Don't worry it was only for a few minutes. Sometimes though, the dog is in charge of everyone at the immigration checkpoint!

Its hard working the point, because I am a human being, i'm highly trained, and I like to think I'm good looking enough, but that darned dog is always the star of the show! Hehehe.
