Having developed a few magical skills, Ilacie was able to uncover a fabulous hoard of treasure. She could see piles of gold spreading out everywhere, with precious gems and other valuables gleaming enough to stand out. This inspired her to try out a magic spell that she had barely used until now; this seemed like the perfect opportunity to practice her size-increasing spell. Pointing her wand at a golden mound in front of her, she fired a glittering ray of light. However, the spell reflected back and she fell back in surprise with an unusually heavy bump. Afterwards, she could not tell if the treasure was somehow enchanted or if it was just so shiny that it was capable of reflecting her magic. More immediately though, she concluded that her spell had worked in a way; she then supposed something like this was bound to happen if she got greedy.
