Holly's Barracuda (Commission)

This image came to me while I had been exercising. I always wanted holly to have a muscle car and one day it popped in my head, why not a 1971 Plymouth Barracuda 440 with the six-pack package. To me it seemed like a great fit.

This fantastic piece of art was created by the by the awesome notorious

But wait, there's more! I also whipped up a brief story to go along with the image. Enjoy!

Holly sat in front of her computer typing on its keyboard. She had been writing since early morning finishing up the last bit of the Dungeons and Dragons story. The platinum fox morph was pleased with how it had turned out. However Holly was inwardly not looking forward to editing the thing.

Instead, she looked away from her computer and peered out her window. Holly saw how it looked like a nice bright and sunny weekend morning outside. Checking her computer's clock showed that it was around nine in the morning.

Holly realized it was perfect conditions to go outside and baby her new toy, a yellow and black 1971 Plymouth Barracuda 440 with the six-pack package. She had recently gotten it from her beloved uncle Joey. He was like a dad to her since Holly's father had died in a tragic work accident. Joey had been the one to instill in Holly the love of cars and racing. Though sadly his health had taken a turn for the worse and he could not keep his car collection any longer. So in the end he gifted his Barracuda to his favorite niece.

"Time to get my polish on," Holly jovially called out in a soft tone. Briefly she contemplated going out as she was. She wore a pair of workout trunks and a black t-shirt that had a comically drawn skull and cross bones over the front. Instead, she padded out of her office and down the short hall to her bedroom. There she changed into a blue bikini and donned a matching spiked collar. No matter what she wore, Holly always felt naked without one of her collars!

Afterword, she went downstairs to the large garage attached to her townhouse. There she rolled up the wide garage door with a loud clatter. Next she got into the driver's seat and started the car's powerful engine. The machine came alive with a loud gusty roar. Briefly she had a bit of fun by blipping the gas to hear the Barracuda scream. To her, the machine felt eager to go fast.

Satisfied, she slipped the manual transmission into reverse. Then slowly she backed the car out of the garage into her short paved driveway. After turning off the engine, Holly made sure to roll up all the windows.

Briefly going back into the open garage, Holly began pulling out all sorts of cleaning implements. Then with a loud clatter, she dragged out her semi broken hose reel and played out a large amount of green rubber garden hose. Satisfied everything was ready, Holly began spraying water all over the car.

Every so often a gust of breeze blew back some of the spray wetting her white and grey fur, but she did not mind. It was a beautiful day and she was babying her muscle car. Yet before she went too far, she realized she forgot to get some music going.

After putting down the hose, she went back inside her house, grabbed her iPhone, and then came back out to plug her cell phone into a stereo sitting on a shelf. Then she tuned the thing into the Zakk Wylde radio station she had on her Pandora app. Pleased with the heavy metal music coming from the stereo, she went back out to continue cleaning the machine.

Between the music, the beautiful warm sunny day, and the work she was doing, Holly had zoned out. So focused on the task at hand that she had not been paying attention to the numerous other weekend activities around her. It wasn't until she had been more than half way through applying wax to her car that she noticed her neighbor, Fred, was watching her. He was a raccoon morph and one of her best friends.

"I gotta say you've got a beautiful car Holly," he casually spoke coming closer.

"Thanks," she replied as she began to buff the section of car she had finished waxing. Holly rubbed the soft buffing pad repeatedly over the section leaving the area shining brightly.

"So this was your uncle's huh," he asked while he leaned in to inspect the car's interior.

"Yep, he knew it was my favorite."

"Was he going to try and keep any of his other cars," Fred conversed while appreciating Holly's wax job.

"Well he really wanted to keep his sixty-six 427 cobra. But with his increasing leg and hip problems, he's not able to get in it anymore. For now he plans on keeping his sixty-seven mustang GT five-hundred. It's one of the few vehicles he can still drive. Though I've been wondering for how much longer?" Holly gossiped while she finished up the last areas of the vehicle that still needed wax. Then Holly kneeled down to wash the Barracuda's wheels

Casually the raccoon morph walked over and leaned against the side of her house. Fred silently pondered Holly squatting before the car working on cleaning a wheel. He enjoyed the sight of her in her tight blue bikini. "So he's selling the rest?"

"Yep, he already has a buyer lined up from Switzerland who is willing to shell out a lot of money for the cobra," Holly gossiped.

"I bet that thing's got to be worth a quarter of a million dollars," Fred inquired.

"Close to it." Within ten minutes Holly had the last wheel nice and clean. Afterward she stood up to admire her work.

"Very pretty," gossiped Fred moving away from her house.

"Yes it is," Holly agreed searching the car's body for anything she might have missed.

A thought struck Fred, "hold on, give me a sec to get my camera." He quickly dashed towards his house. Within moments he came back with his digital SLR camera. "I want to grab some photos of the Barracuda." Fred innocently stated as he started taking shots of the shiny yellow and black car. Every time he took a photo, his camera gave off a loud snap click.

Then after a moment another idea struck him. "Hey, why not pose before the car," Fred suggested to Holly.

Holly shrugged, "sure why not." With that she went up to the front of the car by its nose and struck a pose. She lifted her arms up behind her head and placed one of her paws forward a bit. Fred snapped a shot of her in that stance.

"Very beautiful," he complimented her as he took his camera over to Holly to show her the photo he took of her. She peered at the camera's display screen.

"Yea it looks great! But enough photos, let's go for a drive," she invited him. With that both hopped into the car. She started it causing a pleasant rumbling to come out of its rear exhaust. After seeing Fred was buckled in, Holly backed the car out of her driveway into the street. Shifting the transmission into first, she lit up the tires as she sped away from her house and down the street.
