Words from Far Away by BronzeHeart92

Karezuma Base, Earth Date 17.5.2246
It has already been 2 months and 3 days since I was assigned here. So far, no major problems to report. According to the results from the Environmental Verification, the planet should be ready for settlements.
But here's the rub: who is the worthy client here? Will this planet be a site of a plant as per the wishes of Lord Dreiziri? Or will it be the Colonial Settlements Authority as per the original purpose of our mission?
The nature over here can be surprisingly dangerous. Earlier this month, one of our researchers was found dead. Judging by the claw marks found on his chest and the noise heard just before the incident, it was likely some sort of a bear-like creature. If only we managed to get a decent picture of it...
Assigned as I am far away from home, my mind tends to wander away to the home and family I left behind. Take care, Frank, Ellie, Peter, Kevin, Nora and Mary. I will find my way home and then I can tell you all sorts of wonderful stories. Until then, I ask that you remember me in your hearts.
