For the vampire prompt of drawloween I went with an idea I had for an AU, where Coffee is a vampire. Based on the Calyptra moths, who are also called "vampire moths" for their ability to drink blood.

The idea behind this vampire species is that AFAB Calyptra are the dominants in the species, but tend to have at least one AMAB companion around. All species members can survive on fruit and plant juices, but for camouflage, shapeshifting and magic, blood is needed. AFAB Calyptra, albeit having greater magical potential, cannot suck blood themselves. They need to get it from AMAB species members.

Coffee is a powerful female member of the species who has her own territory, and could easily afford a whole small harem of males, but so far mostly sticks to a single male for feeding
