Jack by Border Walker (critique requested)

Jack (critique requested)

Border Walker

And Jack. One of the other's in this large Multiverse I have in my head. He also got a redo from his first, very gothic emo inspired incarnation, as well as an attitude change. Here he's an Assassin for Hire. He's also the one who started this redesign trend. Yes, he wears a white suit and red tie. Yes, he still kills people like this. He is that confident. He's also never been caught cause he knows how to hide his tracks.

Critique welcome.

    Very Sharply dressed character! I like that you have a story behind him other than the usual furry sex character that I think many of us are very guilty of. I think you should have spent more time figuring out the shading and I know cel style is very tricky. Looking at Legend of Korra cels - you can see how they added shadows to give depth to her body and make her more 3Dimensional http://i.imgur.com/9e0OJ.png

    The other thing to work on is a bit on the viewer's right, his head looks a tad cut off at that angle.

    Keep going, and please bring out more characters.

      While I admit Jack does have a sex related side too, it's less sex for fun and more sex for necessity. Purely a business relationship :p But thank you! Almost all of my characters are built out of stories and ideas I've had, so it's good to hear people actually enjoy that. I do need to work on shading heavily, this I know. I prefer the clean look of cell style, with Avatar actually being a very good place of where I try to draw influence so I see very well what you mean. I'll look into improving that in future work certainly.

      I think i see what you mean by the viewer's right, but I'm not sure how well I can fix that. I'll certainly focus more on my heads and try to get it right, but might be a while ^^;

      But thank you, I appreciate the critique!
