Sliding into the lava, I let out a content sigh. The molten liquid which would have normally burned alive any other species, felt refreshing against my tired and aching body. As an added bonus, the viscous soup of rock and minerals happened to be the exact same thing I used to feed myself. Scooping up a heaping handful of the churning lava, I brought it to my mouth eagerly gulping it down. Feeling the heated orb of delicious magma settle within my stomach, I let out a content belch before grabbing the next handful. Scoop by scoop the twisting and bubbling fluid entered my body, stretching the ruby red hide. Feeling the pressure grow along the edges of my belly plates, I leaned back against the edge of the shimmering orange pool. Like a leviathan from the deep, the taut yellow orb a a stomach surfaced from the lava. Trailing a hand along it's creaking side I could feel my belly plates practically vibrating against the jam packed contents within. Lifting another handful to my mouth I pondered how many more gulps of the fluid it would take before they finally popped apart....
