Just messing around with drypoint printing in my friend's studio.
Scratched this out in about half an hour. Never did a drypoint before, so I was just messing around with different crosshatching techniques all over this image
Just 1) scratch drawing into a piece of plexiglass using a sharp implement 2) apply ink 3) wipe off excess ink (so ink is retained in the scratches only) and 4) print using an etching press. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Drypoint. Quite fun and much easier to learn if you already know how to draw and sketch vs relief printing where you have to think about the negative of the image.
