Unfortunately this character doesn't yet have a name, so I've just been calling him Mr. Bear

This plush is life sized for a young black bear, some black bears get over 200 pounds, but most are about the weight of a full grown man. (this plush is much much lighter of course LOL!)

I had a lot of fun making him, as I'm sure a lot of you already know that I have a thing for bears. They're my favorite animal! So an excuse to make a life sized bear on commission, I just had to jump at it. He's one of the few that I've done that I'm actually really sad to see go, even if I have no room for him. ^^;

He's 100 percent hand sewn. He stands on his own thanks to hand carved foam legs (that took forever and a day). His head is carved rigid foam to help hold it's shape. Claws are cast replica grizzly bear claws, back claws are my realistic canine claws. (Bear claws are much longer in the front then they are in the back, meant for digging)

His eyes are hand made, acrylic, and follow you no matter where you look at him from. Pawpads hand sewn meticulously to be as close to the real thing as possible, yes there is a left and right! Bear feet, like humans, are distinguishable left from right. I'm pictured standing behind him to give you an idea how HUGE he is! My backdrop is only so big, sorry guys! I would love more pics of him with others to show just how big he is.
