The one thing I have always liked about Christmas traditions was the preparations. Besides baking or the decorating of trees it has been the arts of secretive surprises gift wrapped in joyous, colorful wrapping paper. Endless knots and ties of ribbons adorn cards, vouchers, stockings and parcels. The ideal past time when the weather is cold or wet and miserable is to imagine the joy presents bring to those you will be presenting them with. Sheepishly smiling, this Mouflon is spending the day packing, wrapping and writing cards.
Also worth of note: over the past ten years, I have been doing Chrimbo cards of my own. Some have even been as fortunate as to receive one in the mail. What started off with wintery sport motifs has now come as close to a traditional Christmas scene yet... You can find the archives over at my good old VCL
