Do you guys like seeing these? Let me know and I'll keep posting in progs!
Here's the head so far, still needs a bit of refinement.
Ear holes: I really felt that it was super important to be able to move the ears for expression- still working out the kinks on how to make it work but looking at Ball-jointed-dolls for inspiration.
Horns: aren't on there- going to try to make them out of epoxy because it's sooo much stronger than scupley. However I'm nervous because the epoxy is on a time limit as far as how long you can work on it and it just isn't as ..."sensitive"? As the super sculpey.
EYES: OMG I HAVE BEEN THROUGH SO MUCH TO GET THEM TO WORK but I'm pretty pleased with the result!
1: bought cabochons (suggested by a few of you awesome peeps!) Bought a few for testing.
2: The "top" of the cabochon's just were never round enough for me.
3: I flipped them around and put the Lisa Pavelka's Magic gloss in generous drops on the back of them, creating a kinda full circle.
4: Painted the "kinda-dome" side of the cabochon with acrylic (pupil, iris)
