Athena by BlueNire

Athena

BlueNire

This is Athena, the angora goat.

Original creation/design by pale on fur affinity
Design then was bought by ME from dynameaux (-which was okay with the original artist and because he knew I had a huge crush on her!)

.......Is it......weird to have crushes on character you own? Anyway...

The truth is she's not bad, she just absolutely looks that way! (She's just doing magical open-heart surgery right there!)
Would you believe that although she did dabble in the dark-arts growing up as a kid (ha! kid), she now only uses her great power to be a dedicated (but kinda feared) lone healer? (I'd openly say she's a witch, but since I don't know about that religion, I don't want to offend anyone!)
Don't believe me? Well, most people don't believe me either; what with those red eyes, being a goat, and her dark, shady past...

I wouldn't mess with her, either way!
.......................................................................................................................................................................................

She is...kinda...hard for me to draw emotionally.
I feel like she represents the femininity that I lost, or that was taken away from me....or that I idealize....and desire...or maybe I'm just really confused?

Immeasurably strong in ways that can't be directly observed, but very voluptuously feminine and soft in all observable ways.
Wise, gentle, sensuous, honest, powerful, and absolutely shameless.

(So, hey, I own a few characters that I do not remember the original artists name and therefore, I'm afraid to do artwork of them! :( What would you do in this situation? I wish there was a way to figure it out.)

oh gosh i love her too!! i love the way you did her hair and the glowy bits e.e and the smoke and magical whispies <333 also, from an anatomy "nerd" (although i did go to grad school for that so... x3) the heart <333

as for the characters you technically own them! and maybe the original artists are still around and watching you. if you draw them you can always request the original artist to say so in the description! usually when people sell characters of any kind they just want them to be used and cared about. so that's what i'd do anyway. maybe someone will recognize them C:

hehe YAAAY Fellow medical nerd!! (I'm a ecg monitor tech! XD) I'm so happy you like her too!! eeee <3

?? You think so??? Maybe? I'm just...really uncomfy posting art and going " I HAVE NO IDEA WHO GAVE THIS DESIGN TO ME " haha but....I.. honestly can't remember...and I'd hate to not do anything for these beautiful designs because ...well I feel like the artists did so well and... ANYWAY sounds like you understand my dilemma! Preaching to the choir and all that!

She's absolutely beautiful. That expression is so powerful- haunting, yet beckoning?

eee YAY! YES That's kinda what I was trying for! (I was worried the magic-red stuff would be a bit "oh scary!" yay!

      • Link

No way! The red here feels like some seriously powerful energy. The closest to scary I'd say is it's slightly intimidating, but more in a way that makes you want to know more 0w0 !
