There seemed to be nothing that could extinguish the burning flames within the two skunks. No matter where they went, Belle and Mikhail adored each other so much that whenever they were parted, each felt like half of them was missing. It felt like they were obsessed with each other, and neither of them wanted it any other way. After all, as well as now having their infant daughter to raise between them, they'd each found their soulmates.

Indeed, they often tried to one-up each other when it came to the next big idea for their dates. And there was one that Belle had wanted to do since the very first day she had met Mikhail. She hadn't worn a dress outside of a formal function for a very long time, and she sought to change that. She wondered what Mikhail would make of her idea, having invited both of their families to the concert hall they'd reserved for that evening. And as she brought him and their daughter Peggy into the main room, his eyes lit up. They had some time before the guests would start to arrive, so they sought to bring a little light into the room.

As the soothing music collected and captured their minds, so their slow dance began. And as they stared into one another's eyes, their dance was one they knew they didn't want to end any time soon. Just as long as Sharp was there in Mikhail's arms, she felt like she could be in no better place. It was a moment they both wanted to cherish forever.

And now, here be one of two pieces of artwork I commissioned at ConFuzzled last year, showing a scene that for a very long time, I wanted to see brought to life. And here it is - done by the vastly talented Booshie, my skunk couple enjoy a ballroom dance as part of their romantic evening. I think this piece really shows how much they adore each other. They simply cannot bear to be apart. Literally and metaphorically, these two shine here. ^^ Often I imagine Sharp singing the song that inspired the idea behind this picture to Mikhail as they dance. :3
