What would otherwise have been the second day of a new week was already shaping up to be a wondrous day for Belle and Mikhail, and in the time they had known each other, so much had blossomed from the selves they had been before they had crossed paths for the very first time. It had seemed inconceivable to Mikhail that he had once been too shy to speak to the woman skunk he now thought of as the love of his life, and yet here he was now, nervous as he waited for her to arrive home from work. He could not see any way how she would refuse his gift for her, given the way she had spoken of him - she too believed that he was the love of her life, and inside his trouser pocket was a pendant made out of hafnium.

When she came home, he greeted her with a kiss and a cuddle, before she went and changed into her casual clothing. On her return, they cooed at each other, before he beckoned her over to the sofa.

"Now, my skunk babe," smiled Mikhail, "before we leave for our dinner out tonight, I want to show you a little something."

"Can it wait until we go out, Mickey?" asked Belle. "I have something for my favourite skunk hunk too."

"I think it'll make our date all the more worthwhile, my love." said Mikhail, before he reached into his pocket and pulled out his gift - a heart shaped pendant that enclosed one of their most treasured photographs. And immediately, Belle's face lit up as though it was a Christmas tree.

"Oh, Mickey!" cried Belle. "This is so cute! I love it so much!"

"I thought you might." smiled Mikhail. "Just to show how much I love my favourite skunky."

"Well, don't wrap it up just yet, Mickey." replied Belle. "I've got a gift of my own for you."

Now we have an image that I decided to purchase while I was at the London Anime and Gaming Con earlier this year. I met MrEchoAngel at her stand, and her marvellous artwork immediately caught my eye! This was one of the three pieces I bought, and the only one to be custom made, and I utterly love it! What a brilliant artist you are! :3
