The first Semi Final fight had been ever so easy for Susan and her robot Hawksbeak, which was armed with a powerful vertical crushing arm. All she had needed to do was keep catching her opponent and crushing their bodywork just as she had done in her previous fights, doing so until hitting their vital components and immobilizing them entirely. How hungry she was for the title of Grand Champion, to the point she was determined to do anything she could to claim it, particularly after losing in the Grand Final the previous year and her two runs before that being dogged by reliability problems. Even though her two teammates Sarah and Selina had been there mainly for the spirit of competition, they knew how much Susan wanted the title, and dared not to try to talk her out of it, for she always brushed off their attempts at dissuading her.

For a place in the Grand Final next week, this time she and her team were to be drawn against Rail, a tracked robot that had a powerful flipper as its main weapon, and which had also reached the previous year's Semi Finals, but this time winning their first Semi Final fight. Its tracks meant it would have a harder time sliding underneath the machine due to its increased traction, but its thin armour meant she would be able to pierce it with relative ease. And as she prepared to push her robot into the arena for the next battle, she allowed herself a small smirk as she passed Rail, slowing down to inspect its bodywork...

And here we have the adoptable character whose profile this image accompanies - Susan Cross. EbonyMalice has worked her magic into this character's design, and I can hardly wait to make use of her. Just don't get on Susan's bad side when she's in a competitive mood, though. ^^;
