Everyone remembers Hikari the Growlithe right? yeah?

Well, in my 2D animation class we were told to choose a character we wanted to animate and I chose her simply because I am hopelessly stuck on Pokemon at the moment and also because she seems like she'd be the easiest one to actually animate. one of our assignments was to come up with some random color scheme concepts, and boom, here we have this.

While working on this, I really liked the results (plus, she's just a cutie) and it made me realize that this color scheme (the large one in the center) suited her best instead of the lighter shade of orange that she originally had. I was trying to go a long with the idea that Pokemon can come in different shades of their regular standard colors, but that sickly, pale orange she had just didn't fit her. so just like with Fastener, Hikari has also had a bit of a makeover.

Wish me luck, and hope that I get a good grade for this.
