Dajeraph

DAH-juhr-aff

A forest-dwelling herbivore that makes annual migrations through the mountains for ripened fruit to head-butt out of trees with their helms, Dajeraph is a sturdy one. They can be found in groups varying from a handful to a hundred individuals, depending on the seasons or geographic location, ranging in size at maturity from a shoulder height and weight of 3' and 80 lbs to 5' and 400 lbs. Dajeraph are a more widespread species, ranging as far south as the tropic of Enkator to the northern ice sheet. As Dajeraph age, the pointed end atop their helm slowly grows longer and becomes an indicator of maturity and higher status within the group. Capable of making a long list of barks and coos, the surprisingly bright, sociable and sturdy Dajeraph makes a fine, durable companion.
