Bandwagon jumping onto this species, I LOVE biological and robotic creatures so protogens are just a fascinating idea to me!
And yet, in designing a very futuristic species I put a fair bit of history in there, his name is from Falstaff from William Shakespeares Henry plays and his markings are inspired by the shakespears family crest. He's very interested in learning of ancient societies of the planets he visits and enjoys spending time reading through books rather than having their information downloaded into him.
