A Maneki Neko disguised in a human exterior, living amongst them as one of their own.

Plagued by a rough past he decided to integrate into the human society in order to save his own life.

Back in his days, after shedding his inanimate shell as a decorative good luck charm, he used to roam freely all across Japan.
However he soon noticed that all the bad luck and malice of the world started to affect him, quite badly so.
The further he travelled, the more bad luck he attracted and absorbed unwillingly until he himself began to change, flickering back and forth between his original form and that of a Kasha, an evil cat demon and the counterpart of a Maneki Neko.
He realized that if he would continue to wander through the world of men without protection, the bad luck would eventually transform him completely.
Thus he decided to help humans purposely, bringing them good luck as a Maneki Neko wherever needed and in return he harvested their happiness to avoid the ill fate threatening his life.

Many years he has spent on this earth by now, saw many ages, met many people and changed corresponding with the eras evolving around him.

Nowadays he has established a new way of bringing good luck to people as Maneki Nekos are not as commonly found in every household as they used to be.
Instead he is now starring in his own TV show in which he collects reports of bad luck situations written by his viewers and randomly draws a report a day which he will "fix" by becoming the person's "Lucky Item of the Day".
He visits the person in need and attempts to help them with their troubles, magically always solving the problems.
Of course everything is recorded and broadcasted the next evening.
Thus he saves himself from the bad luck he attracts and simultaneously is allowed to lead a neat lifestyle as a starlet of the TV-world all over Japan.

He also has an original form as a Maneki Neko, though he rarely transforms.
Moreover he has the ability to take on the shape of a normal Maneki Neko figurine to hide himself.
