His skin color was due to his father trying to change him to look more like an old lover - This is also the cause for a blue false eye in his right eye socket, as his lover had heterochromic eyes, and one was blue. After dissolving good relationships with his father, his body makeup basically "re-melanized" his skin back to its normal coal Black coloration.

The change from Orange to Green in terms of color scheme is due to the fact that his ex-gang's colors were Green, whilst their rival gang's colors were Orange, and him getting a lot of shit for it.
