The way that I draw full paw-pad hands on anthros inspired him to commission me for this. This was a great brain excersize for me and it also helped make sense of how to morph paws into hands based on actual animal anatomy. Here we have a dog's paw, morphing into an anthro dog hand!

It also makes perfect sense the way it's shown. Love seeing the dew claw finally become a working thumb this way! I suppose one disadvantage of a anthro hand is possibly the non-presence of grooves used in fingerprinting. You'd definitely have to use other sources like hair samples in such cases.
