An early 3D-model of a Skink, which is one of the units of the Lizardmen army in the Warhammer series.

I say early as my goal with this was to create an initial box-y model of a Skink so I have something to continue working on. Or maybe just rig and animate as I see fit. The main point here is to actually have something at all which I can use as a reference for how to make it even better later on.

The Skinks themselves? Well, they're the small, nimble artisans and administrators of the Lizardmen empire who takes care of the day to day tasks in order to make sure everything runs smoothly. Although not as warlike as other Lizardmen, they'll certainly join a battle when the need arises.

I'm not 100% sure if this is what they really look like. There's some artwork depicting them as well as the actual tabletop army model, though they're not all exactly similar. Because of this I think it's up to each individual artist to visualize their representation of what a Skink actually look like, and in addition what I think makes them look the best. That's why I've made a box model now as to try out one way of modeling it while still being able to change any part however I'd like.

We'll see whether I'll refine this model straight away or try to model something new for now. If anyone has any thoughts or ideas for how to make this model better, then feel free to suggest them! I appreciate any feedback I can get.
