I think the gods of anthro art must be smiling on me, first I manage to catch a commission slot from Koul just as I was literally about to call it a night a few weeks ago and then yesterday I got home from work and turned on my PC just in time to catch a Alishka Alishka sketch-stream starting! And this is the result, I just love how can take a simple idea and bring it to life!
Though that does raise the question, what would the god/ess of anthro art look like?

Yeah, its something I haven't really got across in my commissions but is mentioned in the story I posted recently, Alex puts on weight and thick and heavy fur in the winter months and looks, well a but chubby lol but you wouldn't really mind that knowing its going to come off again in the summer (when her mum thinks she's too thin) :)

Before winter will she start stuffing herself with food ? What about shedding all the extra fluff when weather gets better ?
I can imagine some inconvenient and/or embarassing situations around that lol.-

I've kind of thought of it as like the cycle a real arctic-fox goes through, she doesn't really eat any more, just her metabolism changes and slows down so that what she does eat is converted into a warming layer of fat, and the opposite in the summer months, her metabolism speeds up so she sheds weight. And yeah, I have an idea for a commission where she has been 'show paraded' at police training college for having hair on her uniform during an inspection, its hard to keep her uniform hair/fur free at the best of times, never mind during shedding season lol (long car journey to work, I think about these things) :)

Most animals that stay for the winter in this part of the world go into feeding frenzy, so I thought it might also be the case. I still think she'd have carvings despite the slower metabolism.
When I read inspection I immediately started to think of that nasty guy in the story you posted sometime ago. So much friction...

Uggghhh, this is why I shouldn't have multiple galleries, forgot to reply to this lol And that's interesting Tiido, I didn't know about the feeding frenzy part. Show parades happen during police training where the instructors punish the trainees for some infraction, whether real or imagine, it happens to everyone at least once and I believe is designed to see how the trainee reacts to being disciplined, I thought it would be fun to have Alex being show-paraded for something she really has no control over!

It can be difficult to juggle between different sites. I keep FA and this place in my Opera SpeedDial so I will keep on checking the places and not forget about any haha.
They eat to gain necessary fat to survive the winter.
That's interesting to know. Has it happened to you ?
