Life feels so stagnant right now, and yet it’s so rapid
I feel it too, you know
That looming sense of an uncertain future that hurtles nearer and nearer to us each moment
With the life we’ve made here, our laughs, our tears, our friends, our memories, and everything of our last three years now slipping away so quickly behind us
And here we sit, feeling so dormant
Oblivious of our destination, on this train we don’t remember boarding
Weighed down by life, the very thing we see fleeting so weightlessly outside of this window
The view is bittersweet, isn’t it?
We’re approaching another intersection now, not our first and certainly not our last
And yet… honestly dear, I’m quite content
Because even with all these foolish ramblings clouding my mind
There’s no one else I’d rather be on this journey with than you
