A Jewel of a Medic by Bellumsaur

A Jewel of a Medic

Bellumsaur

A little something I drew a number of months ago, a depiction of Jewel from Rio as a combat medic in the Imperial Brazilian Army and sitting on a short wall somewhere in northwest Africa during the winter of 1942-43. The 25,000 saur Brazilian Expeditionary Force, of which she is a part of, landed at Bayona in Polish Gambii on September 27 in order to push back a Communard offensive and prevent the Polish-Lithuanian colony from falling to the Red juggernaut. The BEF would fight on in Africa until the final surrender of French forces in Tunisia in April 1943, after which they would participate in further operations in Sardinia, Corsica, and northern Spain.
