A speedpainting of Vishila to broaden my range of textures in terms of rendering. I have not painted really soft feathering like owl feathers, so I decided to try that for this one. There are some parts of this I'm not completely pleased with, but it served as a valuable learning experience.
This took 2:05 hours to complete, I considered spending more time on this but at the same time I did not want to risk over-rendering it.

Thanks! I was trying to figure a way to make the eyes look like they were glowing without using odd effects and just the lighting.

Very cool character design! I like the light from the eyes reflecting off the nearby feathers.
