I attempted to do more stuff with my liichuz creatures, but in the end I think this one turned out to be a bust. Mostly it was an attempt at lighter lights and deeper shadows, but it looks too saturated and in some points it seems washed out and and improperly balanced in terms of where light and shadow are supposed to go.

However, I had taught myself a few things regarding blocking in colors and lighting/shadow in the earlier stages before putting in more details, so it was not a complete loss.
