I got GhostCaptain-Salazar this month for Creature-exchange!

1 - What parts of your prompt were written well and easy to understand? Was there anything the writer of the prompt could improve on or include next time they create a prompt?

This was the prompt. It was very straight forward with what they wanted to see, and gave quite a few options to play with, which was nice!

2 - Please explain how you interpreted the prompt to create your design. Which features did you use? Did you stick to the chosen palette or make changes to it? Does the design you created have any special abilities or quirks?

I decided to go for an undead pirate captain with a subtle orca motif (but hopefully not too subtle?). The main colors are black and white, with a white eye patch (that ended up looking too plain so I gave it some baroque designs), black hat and overcoat with white feathers (meant to look like a water plume) and the inside of the coat, combined with the shape of it at the bottom meant to be reminiscent of an orca's tail. The various shades of blue are water-inspired, and the gold was asked for specifically, which I thought nicely offset all the darker colors.

They asked for a missing limb as well as something to signify the source of their power, so I gave him an amulet that creates a ghostly demonic arm that he can control (or maybe it controls him). They asked for pale/dead-looking skin, and I tried to make his black skin look ashy and undead. Lots of scars and holes/tears in his clothing like they asked as well.

All in all, I could've probably thrown in more detail (like adding baroque accents on the boots, belt, and shoulder cap (I dunno what to call the leather he wears over his missing arm), but I figured there was more than enough for the recipient to work with as is!
