The true strength of a leader is not just what he can do, rather it is how he can empower and inspire others, especially those who have seen only defeat, and have never known strength or victory themselves.

As the battle raged, and the tide turned against them, it was not the heroic actions of a mighty warrior, nor the power of their army that held them together.
It was the fires of the strength and will of the people themselves, several tiny embers kindled, brought together, fed and fanned into a blazing inferno of unshakable determination that would not be diminished.
All had looked to the power of the mighty warrior, believing it would be his strength, skill, and prowess that would save them in this battle, none ever realized that it would be their own strength that he would call upon to win the battle and save them all.

The mighty warrior never advanced to the front line, never threw a spear, never engaged a single enemy.
The young ones ask where was the mighty hero during the great battle, and the storytellers of lifetimes later still reply with the same answer. "Everywhere, for he was with us, and in us all"
